Euphony ASSE-LENNIK looking forward to the start of Europe's top club competition
2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Men
Zellik, Belgium, October 16, 2011. Belgium’s rookie Euphony ASSE-LENNIK is very much looking forward to the start of the 2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League which is coming up this Tuesday with a home match against Remat ZALAU of Romania. The venue for all home matches of the real sensation from last year’s national league will be the marvelous SportOase in Leuven.
Dutch-born head coach Marko Klok says: “We can barely wait for this game with Remat. They have signed some excellent foreign players and they also got some valuable experience from last year’s campaign in the Champions League. However, we will square off and play with real passion to provide our fans with a great start in this elitist competition. Since our next contenders are Zenit KAZAN and VfB FRIEDRICHSHAFEN this game is already going to determine our fate in the group”.
Euphony is currently ranked second in the national league with 4 wins out of five matches, as only Noliko MAASEIK has been able to edge LENNIK.
