"Teruel will turn into a fort hold for all opponents" promises captain Cesc Llenas
News from the clubs
Teruel, Spain, October 12, 2011. Spain’s CAI TERUEL is set to join the CEV Volleyball Champions League for the third consecutive year. The President of the club, José Luis Torán, together with head coach Oscar Novillo and captain Cesc Llenas, joined this past Thursday a press conference to discuss about the goals and expectations of his team with the Spanish media.
Mr. Torán addressed the journalists by first recalling the composition of the preliminary Pool CAI TERUEL was assigned to after the Drawing of Lots staged this past July 1 in Vienna. He also drew their attention to the match schedule with the first home game coming up in two weeks against Poland’s Zaksa KEDZIERZYN-KOZLE.
“Although our Pool is extremely tough, we still want to pursue the same goals we had set for our previous campaigns in the CEV Volleyball Champions League” added head coach Novillo. “We want to play good matches in the European Cups and take from there some valuable experience for our domestic competitions”.
“In the past very strong teams like PGE Skra BELCHATOW or Bre Banca Lannutti CUNEO had to struggle as they came to Teruel to play against us. We shall therefore get ready to turn our sports hall into a fort hold and make things as complicated as possible even for the most decorated opponent” concluded team captain Cesc Llenas.
