TRENTINO PlanetWin365 wants to stretch its supremacy with another Champions League crown

Trento, Italy, October 5, 2011. Only a couple of days before traveling to Doha, Qatar, to extend there their supremacy by attempting to seize a third consecutive crown at the FIVB Club World Championship, TRENTINO Volley had the chance to spend some time with local and national media thereby officially opening its quest for a fourth title in the CEV Volleyball Champions League. The press conference attended by club President Diego Mosna, head coach Radostin Stoytchev and by captain Matey Kaziyski, was hosted by Ferrari Incontri, the well-known local wine producer that is once again included in the portfolio of the sponsors supporting this glorious team.
With the first home match scheduled for next October 20 against Spain’s CAI TERUEL, the officials announced that the club will be sponsored – for that additional European campaign – by the marketing agency of the local government, Trentino S.p.A., as well as by a very popular betting portal, PlanetWin365. “We have been always pursuing fair play and the respect of all rules. We can easily associate such values to the sport of Volleyball and to a club like TRENTINO” said Mr. Virgilio Gasparini, General Director of the Italian company that owns the trademark PlanetWin365. “After three consecutive titles in this competition we sincerely hope that this winning streak will be extended and this time accompanied by our logo” he stated.
“We do not want to make any statement now” added Diego Mosna, “in my opinion it is already fantastic that this club was able to notch the title for three years in a row. Of course we want to stretch this series; however our opponents are getting stronger and stronger and we also feel the responsibility and pressure descending from being the champions from the past three seasons”.
“In this competition you always have to pay much attention especially in the Playoffs, where in case of a tie in wins, a golden set is to be played and this applies also to the clash that determines the teams advancing to the final four” singled out the local General Manager Giuseppe Cormio. “However, we know our potential and apart from this we were assigned to an affordable preliminary group”.
“CAI TERUEL, Zaksa KEDZIERZYN-KOZLE and Partizan Termoelektro BEOGRAD are very respectable teams and we shall not underestimate anyone” commented Stoytchev. “It feels a little strange to talk about the Champions League as we are about to travel to Doha for the Club World Championship but our team will be ready for every single match. We are working hard and this is the only way to honor our showcase”.
“Three wins in a row have not undermined our ambition to come out again on top of Europe” concluded captain Matey Kaziyski. “The first matches we played in the national league confirmed that we are again a strong side to reckon with”.
The media coverage for the home matches of TRENTINO PlanetWin365 will be huge: apart from CEV partner LAOLA1.tv that will be live streaming all games of the 2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League, host broadcaster Sportitalia will be exploiting all of its three channels while Radio Dolomiti will be also following – live – all matches of the guys that have dominated the international scene since 2009.
