Latvian star and former EuroBeachVolley Champion from 2019, Tina Graudina, chats with us about balancing her life competing on the professional Beach Volleyball tour each summer, and being a student athlete in the United States of America at USC, including her tips for following in her footsteps and gaining a scholarship of your own.

Tina Graudina: "It's a great privilege to play for a University, especially a Division 1 University. However, I would say that for European athletes the advantages of studying in the US are not that well known. One of the biggest advantages is that your studies and sport are very interconnected, so all the coaches are very aware and there is a whole book of laws that they need to abide by so that we are not being pushed too far."
