The dust settles on our 8 quarter-finals teams for #CLVolleyW
CEV Champions League Volley 2021 - Women

Luxembourg, February 4, 2021. After several months of jostling, we now have our eight teams that will be participating in the 2021 edition of the Champions League quarter-finals. It was not an easy road for Scandicci, Conegliano, VakifBank, Eczacibasi, Police, Novara, Fenerbahce, and Busto Arsizio given the tough roster of teams this year and the circumstances surrounding professional sports. But only two of these eight elite teams will end up battling each other in the Super Finals. Let's find out how they got here.

Pool A

Both Italian teams qualified from this pool, with Busto Arsizio making a statement with a dominant 3-0 win tonight over Schwerin to advance to the quarter-finals. Pool A ended up being one of the most competitive in the tournament, with the two top teams qualifying with 'only' four wins.

Pool C

VakifBank took complete control of this pool, only dropping two sets during the 4th round to grab the full 18 ranking points. Łódź was the unlucky team this edition of Champions League, as the only team with 4 wins not to qualify to the quarter-finals. Swedish opposite Isabelle Haak was the leading scorer of this pool with 115 points.

Pool D

With a 3-1 victory over Dinamo Moscow tonight, Eczacıbaşı VitrA Istanbul both booked their ticket to the quarter-finals and crushed Moscow's hopes of taking one of the second place spots. American middle blocker Chiaka Ogbogu racked up 6 blocks for Eczacıbaşı in the match.

Pool E

The final match in this pool ended up not affecting anything, as both Igor Gorgonzola Novara and Grupa Azoty Chemik Police were through before the game even started. However that doesn't mean there wasn't some seriously exciting volleyball tonight, as the teams went to four sets even with little on the line. American setter Micha Hancock of Novara was tied with Isabelle Haak for the best server of the tournament with 13 aces.
