C.S.M. BUCURESTI aim at writing history for Romania’s Volleyball family
2016 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup - Women

Bursa, Turkey, March 9, 2016. Romania’s C.S.M. BUCURESTI have travelled to Turkey to contest on Wednesday afternoon the first round of the 2016 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup – Women semis against hosts and 2015 gold medallists BURSA BBSK. The spirits are high and the players from Romania’s capital city are determined to extend their winning streak in the competition.

“It is clear that BURSA BBSK start this double header as the pre-favourites but we will be trying to play our best. We want to become the first women’s team from Romania to reach the final stage of a European Cup competition,” says the Italian-born coach of C.S.M. BUCURESTI, Francois Salvagni (pictured).

Middle blocker Tamara Susic adds: “We are a great team and I think that if we play our best we can beat any opponent.”

The first round of the semis will be played on Wednesday afternoon starting at 6pm local time with the match being played at Cengiz Göllü Volleyball Hall in Bursa.
