Russia vs. Slovenia and Poland vs. France have been confirmed as the two semifinal fixtures in the battle for the top positions, while host Czech Republic will face Serbia and Italy will lock horns with Turkey in the semifinals for the distribution of places 5 through 8.  However, due to a request from the host broadcaster, there has been a slight change in the order of these four matches on Friday afternoon at the Vodova sports hall:

Complete schedule of the matches on September 5 (all times local – CET):

12:30:  Italy vs. Turkey
15:00:  Russia vs. Slovenia
17:30:  Czech Republic vs. Serbia
20:00:  Poland vs. France

The two latest matches on Friday, as well as the bronze medal match and the final on Saturday will be televised by Ceska televise, the public broadcaster in the Czech Republic.  One of these four matches, today’s game Czech Republic vs. Serbia, will be aired on the CT sport channel live.

In addition, as in the preliminary phase of this Final Round, all eight matches on Friday and Saturday in Brno will be streamed live on LAOLA1.tv.

Volleyball fans, as well as international media, will also have access to a live photogallery covering all the exciting moments happening in real time on and off the court at the Vodova hall on these two days.  It has already become a tradition that pictures from major CEV events find their instant way to the internet audiences through the eventolive.it platform.
