Montenegro’s home hero Culafic calls on fans’ support to make European League Finals
2014 CEV Volleyball European League - Men

Budva, Montenegro, July 14, 2014. The men’s national team of Montenegro will be playing on Wednesday, July 16, the return match on schedule for the semis of the 2014 CEV Volleyball European League – Men, trying to redeem for their 1:3 defeat to the Former Y.R. of Macedonia from last Thursday in Skopje. Montenegro needs a 3:0 or 3:1 victory to call for the golden set and then vie for a spot in the finals where it would play the winners of the other semi-final starring Slovenia and Greece.

“We played a very poor game in Skopje and I think that Macedonia fully deserved their home victory,” says Montenegro’s opposite Milos Culafic. “After coming back from Skopje, we had a few days to rest and regroup; we have to play much more aggressive on Wednesday and a lot better than we did in Skopje. I hope that we will be able to improve on the negative impression we left in the first game and give our best to compensate for our defeat and call for a golden set. In order to achieve this goal we need the help of our fans, so I do hope that as many as possible will come to the sports hall to help us achieve a would-be historic success and progress to the finals.”
