Vizura BEOGRAD secure spot in CEV Cup quarterfinals

Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina, February 24, 2017. On Thursday night, Vizura BEOGRAD claimed the matchup with Ukraine’s Khimik YUZHNY played on neutral ground in Brčko by 3-2 (25-14, 23-25, 23-25, 25-20, 15-8) to secure their progression to the quarterfinals of the 2017 CEV Volleyball Cup – Women.
The match started in the best way for Vizura with the first set ending in a landslide 25-14 win for the Serbian team. After that, Khimik emerged victorious at the end of two equally close sets before Vizura levelled the match in the fourth with the help of their most experienced player, Sladjana Eric. Vizura were in full control also in the tiebreak, and thus secured their progression to the quarterfinals where they will be taking on Russia’s standout Dinamo KAZAN.
