Treviso, Italy, April 24, 2017.  On the weekend that VakifBank ISTANBUL made history by taking their third Champions League crown, we were breaking new ground around and off the court.  For the first time at one of our top events CEV had a dedicated video crew from our media partner Laola1.tv on site focused on capturing footage and creating videos that show the lighter and more personal side of our players and teams.

As previously covered, we were pleased and honoured to have Imoco Volley and Dutch middle blocker Robin de Kruijf join our team as well for her teams matches following the news that she was not yet ready to play following her ankle injury.  For her teams semi-final she helped cover the match on Twitter, while for the final she gave us exclusive access to her teams changing room prior to the final:
