Yellow Angels take on Dinamo MOSCOW to kick start Playoffs 6
2016 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League - Women

Istanbul, Turkey, March 8, 2016. On Wednesday night Fenerbahce Grundig ISTANBUL of Turkey and Dinamo MOSCOW of Russia will open the programme of the Playoffs 6 in the 2016 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Women at Burhan Felek Volleyball Hall. Fenerbahce have swept all of their matches this season in Europe’s elite competition whilst Dinamo conceded their only defeat in the opening stage of the League Round losing to Italy’s Nordmeccanica PIACENZA.

“Dinamo MOSCOW have one of the strongest teams in Europe,” says the Italian-born outside spiker of Fenerbahce, Lucia Bosetti. “I hope we will perform well and claim a ticket to the Final Four. This is something I am really longing for, especially since this season the Final Four will be taking place in my home country and I am really excited about that. We feel ready for the match with Dinamo and we are waiting for our fans to come and attend the match because we will need their support.”

Libero Gizem Karadayi: “We are only two matches away from the Final Four. Dinamo MOSCOW are a very tough opponent and their line-up includes a good share of the Russian national team. We have been working hard and feel ready for these two matches. I know this is going to be a tough game but I trust my team. We also need the support of our fans because it will be difficult to win this match without relying on their help. We want to win this home match and get the right edge for the return game that is due to follow in Russia.”
