Eczacibasi and VakifBank shape up most anticipated clash of Playoffs 12
2016 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League - Women

Istanbul, Turkey, February 8, 2016. Eczacibasi VitrA’s opponent in the Playoffs 12 of the 2016 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Women is VakifBank ISTANBUL. The matches starring these two heavyweights will be played on February 10 and 24 at Burhan Felek Volleyball Hall. The winner of this round will be playing Lokomotiv BAKU of Azerbaijan or Switzerland’s Volero ZÜRICH in the next stage of Europe’s premier competition. The winners of the Playoffs 6 will then fight for the crown at the Final Four Tournament taking place on April 9-10 in Montichiari, Italy.

Eczacibasi VitrA Team Manager Nalan Ural said: “This will be a classical Champions League match. We have played VakifBank already many times in the Playoffs of the Champions League. As we said already, we actually would like to see all three Turkish teams through to the finals.”

Eczacibasi VitrA team captain Neslihan Demir Güler is sure that these will be two tough matches and added: “We have a strong opponent and they have achieved a lot of success in volleyball. There will be two close matches. We invite our fans to see the matches at Burhan Felek Volleyball Hall.”
