President of Serbia hosts 2017 women’s EuroVolley gold medal winners

Belgrade, Serbia, October 7, 2017. Mr Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Republic of Serbia, recently hosted the women’s senior national team of the Balkan country – gold medal winners from the recently finished 2017 EuroVolley in Azerbaijan and Georgia – for a special reception.
Mr Vanja Udovicic, Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Zoran Gajic, President of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia, Mr Ivan Knezevic, Secretary General, and Mr Ivan Miljkovic, First Vice-President, attended the meeting with the State President as well.
Mr Zoran Terzic, head coach, was ‘at the helm’ of the delegation comprising the 14 gold medal winners from the 2017 women’s EuroVolley: Bjanka Busa, Bojana Zivkovic, Mina Popovic, Tijana Malesevic, Brankica Mihajlovic, Sladjana Mirkovic, Stefana Veljkovic, Teodora Pusic, Ana Bjelica, Jovana Stevanovic, Milena Rasic, Tijana Boskovic, Bojana Milenkovic, and Jelena Blagojevic.
Milena Rasic, team captain, presented Mr Vucic with a framed picture portraying the 2017 women’s EuroVolley gold medal winners while standing on top of the podium last Sunday at the iconic National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.
