Plovdiv, Bulgaria, September 10, 2016. The outside hitter of Ukraine Oleh Plotnytskyi was honoured as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2016 CEV U20 Volleyball European Championship - Men. His all-round performance, but most of all his fantastic serving, was the powerful engine of Ukraine’s success story in Plovdiv, and Oleh clearly deserved this title.
In an exciting closing ceremony in Plovdiv, Plotnytskyi was awarded by CEV Vice President and President of the Jury Banu Can-Schürmann, who also presented the trophy and the gold medals to the team of Poland in the company of Plovdiv’s Deputy Mayor Georgi Tityukov.
The Ukrainian star in the making was also selected as one of the two outside hitters on the Dream Team of the tournament. Six more players received similar individual all-star awards.
