Emanuele Zanini, coach of Turkey: “Our level was much, much better today. We are more satisfied, not just with the three points. We played better than we did yesterday and this was our goal before the match. It is good to win for your self-confidence and even more when you come back like we did in the second set. These matches will give us confidence. So we know where to work and it’s all about details. Now we must think about Croatia. Every match is different. We have to show the same level against them as well.”

Caner Peksen, captain of Turkey: “Today we did what we wanted to do and were more successful than yesterday. We analysed our opponent very well. We had a good start and finished well too. Congratulations to my teammates. Next we will play against Croatia in Ankara. We want to win both games in the fourth leg as well.”

Danut Pascu, coach of Romania: “We played very bad today as we had done yesterday as well. The Turkish team, on the other hand, just got better and better. I want to congratulate them because they have a very good future. They are young and they are real fighters. They always want to win. I think this is what we need too. More wish to win.”

Adrian Radu Gontariu, captain of Romania: “We started the game badly. We should have taken the second set. We were leading there. I think we lost the game after second set. I hope our next matches will be better.”
