Romanian coach counts on home fans to bounce back after ‘Greek setback’
2015 CEV Volleyball European League - Men

Craiova, Romania, July 16, 2015. After losing two matches last week to Greece, Romania men’s national team will celebrate on Friday and Saturday their home debut in the 2015 CEV Volleyball European League – Men when they host Belarus in Craiova.

After their setbacks from last weekend in Thessaloniki, the Romanian guys have been working really hard for this home debut. Both matches will be broadcast live on DigiSport but coach Danut Pascu and team captain Adrian Gontariu are hoping that as many fans as possible will be finding their way to the sports hall in Craiova to cheer the local heroes on.

“We are going to play Belarus, a strong team with some players who are performing in some of the most competitive leagues in Europe,” Pascu says. “We feel ready and are determined to play our best and I am also counting on the support of the fans as we continue our quest to make the Final Four tournament,” he adds.
