Galatasaray Daikin hoping to storm back after clear away loss
2015 CEV Volleyball Cup - Women

Istanbul, Turkey, March 27, 2015. After going through many ups and downs throughout this season, Turkey’s Galatasaray Daikin ISTANBUL are hoping to storm back from their straight-set loss from last Tuesday and get back in contention for a spot in the finals of the 2015 CEV Volleyball Cup – Women once they host Poland’s PGE Atom Trefl SOPOT on Saturday.

“We could not really display our best game in Poland and even though we lost that match in three sets, this does not mean that we have already given up,” says libero Nihan Güneyligil. “As long as we keep on fighting for each rally, I believe we can accomplish our mission. It was our fault last Tuesday when we lost the away match so clearly but it will be a double victory if we eventually make the CEV Cup finals,” she continues.

The team manager of Galatasaray, Mehmet Bayrakci, adds: “I am confident and trust our team. This has not been an easy season for us and we have had many ups and downs. However, our players never give up. I am confident that the players as well as our management will be doing their best for the match tomorrow.”
