Stroitel MINSK one step away from writing history for Belarus’ Volleyball family
2015 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup - Men

Minsk, Belarus, March 23, 2015. Stroitel MINSK are only one step away from what would be a historic achievement for the Volleyball family of the Republic of Belarus. They indeed have made the semis of the 2015 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup – Men and on Wednesday night will be trying to make it a step closer to the final stage of that competition once they host Serbia’s Vojvodina NS Seme NOVI SAD at the Chyzhovka-Arena.

The upcoming semifinal match with Vojvodina NS Seme NOVI SAD has sparked a lot of attention across the mass media and on the Internet as well. The tickets to attend the match are being sold massively and the National Federation has revised the schedule of the national league’s semis in order to allow Stroitel to prepare in the best way for this fixture.

The team from the Belarusian capital got the right boost of confidence ahead of the match up with Vojvodina NS Seme NOVI SAD recording two wins (by 3:0 and 3:2) in the national league’s semis with Shakhtior SOLIGORSK.

The players and officials of Stroitel hope for a great ambiance on Wednesday night at Chyzhovka-Arena where they haven’t lost a single match since the start of their European adventure this season. Since Vojvodina have a little advantage stemming from the fact that they will be playing the return game at home, Stroitel hope to get the right edge by cruising to a home win on Wednesday. Belarus’ Volleyball family has never been any closer to a European final and that would be a dream that comes true.
