Igtisadchi plays Red Star with Challenge Round spot at stake
2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League - Women

Baku, Azerbaijan, December 17, 2013. Igtisadchi BAKU and Crvena Zvezda BEOGRAD will complete on Tuesday their campaign in the prelims of the 2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Women by crossing their ways at the A.Y.S. sports hall in Azerbaijan’s capital city.
After losing in straight sets last week to Dinamo MOSCOW, Igtisadchi is currently ranked third in Pool B while Crvena Zvezda still have to claim their first victory in the competition. Though their chances to make the Playoffs 12 are gone, the hosts of Igtisadchi will be trying to take maximum points from this game so as to be promoted to the Challenge Round of the 2014 CEV Volleyball Cup and continue their European adventure.
“Winning this match is very important for us” says Igtisadchi head coach Bülent Karslioglu. “We will be fighting for every single point to claim the victory and move on to the Challenge Round of the CEV Volleyball Cup” he concludes.
