Dinamo MOSCOW takes on rookie Igtisadchi to cement their leadership in Pool B
2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League - Women

Moscow, Russia, December 8, 2013. Russia’s Dinamo MOSCOW currently tops the charts in preliminary Pool B of the 2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Women with 10 points and this coming Tuesday will play host to Azerbaijan’s Igtisadchi BAKU for the fifth round of action in Europe’s elite club competition. All players could have a little rest after their last game with Crvena Zvezda BEOGRAD and feel ready to play BAKU so as to cement their leadership in the Pool.
“All players had the opportunity to join the action in the last couple of matches and I am satisfied with what they have showed and not simply with the result” says head coach Svetlana Ilic. “I also would like to thank the fans who have always been at our side and invite as many as possible to come and cheer on us also in the game with Igtisadchi.”
Olga Zhitova is among the players who chiefly contributed to Dinamo’s victories in recent times: “We will be following Svetlana’s instructions. We will have a video session to study Igtisadchi and prepare for the game accordingly. They have a very different style than the teams we play in the Russian Superleague. They have many foreign players, especially from Asia, and play very fast Volleyball. They also have two different setters and can easily change their game depending on the one they opt for.”
