After straight loss in Turkey RC CANNES wants to upset Eczacibasi
2014 CEV Denizbank Volleyball Champions League – Women

Cannes, France, December 3, 2013. RC CANNES will play on Thursday at the Palais des Victoires their fourth game in the prelims of the 2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Women hosting Turkey’s Eczacibasi VitrA ISTANBUL. RC CANNES will try to fight their way back after losing in straight sets last week in Istanbul.
Though Eczacibasi claimed their third straight victory a week ago, RC CANNES head coach Yan Fang and the local heroines are confident going into this game. “We lost there because of some details and especially because towards the end of the sets we did not play our best” the Chinese-born mentor of RC CANNES analyses. “It was a close game with a lot of suspense and even though my players were really disappointed with the result, they responded well by claiming their next game in the national league routing BEZIERS Volley in straight sets. They know that they have to play better than they did in Istanbul in order to stand a chance and they are extremely motivated to go for revenge. If we manage to improve on what we did last week, I think that we can make our opponents tremble. If this happens, that may change the course of the game. The support of our fans will be crucial: they always help us boost our self-confidence and we hope that they will bring us the power that we were lacking in Istanbul. We just hope to score a home victory and get back the leadership in the Pool” he concludes.
