Dinamo needs home win to stay in contention for Playoff spot
2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Men

Moscow, Russia, December 3, 2012. This past weekend as they edged Kuzbass KEMEROVO in the last round of the national league, the guys of Dinamo MOSCOW could finally profit of the contribution brought by Hungarian spiker Peter Veres (pictured) who was back in action after a long break due to injury.
Veres did a good job in reception and attack even though the real man of the match was Pavel Kruglov who scored 16 points with a 74% of efficiency in attack. With this result Dinamo claimed second place in the standings of the national league and got ready to play this Wednesday Turkey’s Fenerbahce Grundig ISTANBUL for the fifth round of play in the prelims of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League. It will be a very special clash since Fener is currently mentored by Daniele Bagnoli, under whose guidance Dinamo claimed the Russian Superleague in 2008.
This is going to be a very interesting match also for the Muscovite fans who are still waiting for Bartosz Kurek, transferred this summer from Poland, to make his home debut in the competition. “We need to prepare very carefully for this game and show the right confidence. We still have our chances to make it to the Playoffs 12 and will be doing our utmost to reach the next stage. As we are welcoming back our players who were injured in the past weeks, we are getting more and more confident about our chances” says Kruglov.
Dinamo is currently ranked second in Pool E with 6 points after losing the last couple of matches to Poland’s PGE Skra BELCHATOW.
