Provisional leader at home Zaksa is ready for European adventure
2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Men

Kedzierzyn-Kozle, Poland, October 21, 2012. Zaksa KEDZIERZYN-KOZLE recently cruised past Poland’s national champions, Asseco Resovia RZESZOW, in the national league and the group is confident to go for another positive result on Tuesday night as TOURS VB of France will travel to Silesia for the first round of action in Pool C of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League.
This past Friday Brazilian Luis Felipe Fonteles and French opposite Antonin Rouzier played really well for Zaksa, excellently supported in defense by libero Piotr Gacek. “We made some mistakes but I am happy as the group looks well prepared for the debut in the Champions League. Starting from Sunday we are working exclusively for our clash with TOURS VB; we have much info that is being scouted, we know that TOURS VB has got some good players especially in offense and we have to focus on being as accurate as possible” says head coach Daniel Castellani.
The fans are really excited in Kedzierzyn-Kozle as the team is currently topping the charts of the national league and some 2’500 supporters shall come together for the match against TOURS VB. “It is a very challenging night and we want to show that our club deserves to play with Europe’s elite. Our goal is to be perfectly prepared also organizationally speaking and from a more sportive perspective, we want to make it to the final four” stresses club president Sabina Nowosielska.
