Dinamo MOSCOW takes on Romanian rookie for CL debut
2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Men

Moscow, Russia, October 21, 2012. After missing the past campaign, Dinamo MOSCOW is back in the CEV Volleyball Champions League and Russia’s standout will open its quest for European glory this coming Tuesday, October 23, by playing Romania’s rookie Tomis CONSTANTA. This clash shall provide the local fans with world-class Volleyball especially after the Romanian side finalized some good transfers this summer to strengthen the group and perform well in Europe’s most elitist competition.
Dinamo did not play any matches for the past 14 days as there was a break in the national league but that was well-needed especially since some players are currently nursing injuries. As per the words of head coach Yuri Cherednik (pictured), outside hitter Bartosz Kurek will not recover in time for the match with Tomis CONSTANTA. “The matches of the prelims will be interesting and pretty difficult. I hope that my players understand that there are no easy matches and no easy opponents. We have set a clear goal, which is to make it to the final four and we’ll do our best to turn this into reality. If we start the campaign in good shape, the results will come. Tomis is not an easy rival; they have some experienced Serbian players and they signed Olli-Pekka Ojansivu, an opposite that played in the Russian Superleague last year with Avtomobilist ST-PETERSBURG”.
