German opponent is next challenger for Acqua Paradiso MONZA
2012 CEV Volleyball Cup - Men

Monza, Italy, January 11, 2012. Acqua Paradiso MONZA is ready for the home match coming up this Thursday at the local “PalaIper” for the quarterfinals of the 2012 CEV Volleyball Cup – Men to play there Germany’s BERLIN Recycling Volleys. The Italians have been doing well in the national league and gradually developing their team work; this month is going to be packed with matches but they still hope to continue their European campaign.
“The return match will take place in Germany so it won’t be easy for us as we have to win both games to avoid the golden set” says assistant coach Marco Fenoglio. “Our opponent is a good team with many interesting players who are also included in their respective national teams” he adds. Finnish setter Urpo Sivula – who played in Monza two years ago – will be back but this time to represent the likes of BERLIN.
Acqua Paradiso has easily downed its previous opponents – Lakkapää ROVANIEMI and Seat Volley NÄFELS – while BERLIN got past Anorthosis FAMAGUSTA and Turkey’s ISTANBUL BBSK to make it to the 1/4 finals.
