CSKA SOFIA ready to challenge the leader of Pool A
2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Men

Sofia, Bulgaria, January 16, 2012. CSKA SOFIA is ready to put great pressure on the visiting team of Arkas IZMIR and to complete its adventure in Pool A of the 2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League with a win in front of a fantastic home crowd at “Arena Armeets”.
“We would like to face Arkas at its full shine and with all of its stars. It is always a great pleasure to play against two gold medalists from the Olympics - Joâo Paulo Bravo and Kevin Hansen. We will do our best to win the match”, says the head coach of the Bulgarian champions Alexandar Popov.
Opposite player Emilian Mirchev and setter Georgi Manchev left CSKA SOFIA during the winter break. However, the youngsters Ivan Krachev and Georgi Seganov are ready to substitute them on the bench.
CSKA SOFIA together with two local media - BGvolleyball.com and Sportal.bg - launched a special charity initiative to support the sports journalist Racho Kolev who is facing a serious battle against leukemia and needs to undergo urgent bone marrow transplantation. Special fan attributes signed by the players of CSKA will be sold during the match to support this brave man.
