MACERATA feels confident before next round of action
2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Men

Macerata, Italy, January 9, 2012. The expectations are really high in Macerata for the home game coming up on Wednesday at “Palasport Fontescodella” where the home guys of Lube Banca Marche will play Fenerbahce Grundig ISTANBUL. The Italians have scored 8 wins in a row in the national league and need only 1 point to secure their ticket for the Playoffs 12 from Pool E.
“We will do our best to bring it home because this would allow us to have a quiet journey to Russia for the last round of action with Lokomotiv NOVOSIBIRSK” says head coach Alberto Giuliani. “Fenerbahce is a good team and we know a tough game is coming up. However, I am confident because we are enjoying a good moment and we come from a positive series of 10 matches including the last two in the Champions League”.
More than 1’200 tickets are already sold and the local fans can’t wait to see again their former idol Ivan Miljkovic who spent some 7 years in Macerata winning all international and national trophies there.
