Nearly 8'000 fans will watch the battle for the top position in Pool F
2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Men

Lodz, Poland, October 25, 2011. After recording a perfect start in the 2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League PGE Skra BELCHATOW and TOURS VB will fight for the top position in Pool F in front of 8’000 enthusiastic fans at the “MOSiR” sports hall in Lodz.
“I am very happy because of the fact that we will get another chance to play in front of a great audience in Lodz. Once more the matches of PGE Skra are a real feast for Volleyball in this city. I am very pleased to announce that the match versus TOURS VB will be attended by nearly 8’000 fans. Only a few tickets will be available on Wednesday” stated PGE Skra President Konrad Piechocki during the special press conference arranged a day before the first home game of the Polish champion in what is the seventh straight appearance of PGE Skra in Europe’s most elitist competition.
PGE Skra coach Jacek Nawrocki and captain Mariusz Wlazly also attended the meeting with the media. “We thoroughly analyzed the match TOURS VB played against ACH Volley and we know what a dangerous team we face on Wednesday. It is a very solid team with stars like Konecny, Terzic and Rafael Redwitz, who played for Asseco Resovia in the Polish league. It is also worth mentioning that Gonzalez is one of the best liberos in the world, what makes TOURS VB play really stable. I expect a really hard task. TOURS VB is a side which is capable of beating every team in the CEV Volleyball Champions League” said PGE Skra head coach Jacek Nawrocki who is happy with the fact that young libero Pawel Zatorski recovered after being sick: “Pawel could not play on Sunday in Warsaw and was replaced by Michal Bakiewicz, our winger, who comes back after a long injury. This time Pawel will help us” he stated.
“Our matches in the CEV Volleyball Champions League are moments of great importance for the fans from all over Poland. The atmosphere in the MOSiR sports hall is always great, better than in the Atlas Arena, and it makes us fight for every ball. TOURS VB is a very dangerous team, but we are determined to beat the French champion and take the first position in Pool F” added captain Mariusz Wlazly.
The 2005 Champions League winner and the Polish champion will meet for the first time in history. The match will start at 6 pm and will be broadcast live by Polsat Sport Television and Laola1.tv
