Triple champion motivates Serbian rookie
2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Men

Beograd, Serbia, October 24, 2011. Serbia’s capital city is impatiently waiting for the first home match of rookie Partizan Termoelektro BEOGRAD that will play host on Tuesday to triple World champion and winner of the CEV Volleyball Champions League, TRENTINO PlanetWin365 of Italy, for the second leg of Pool C.
The Italians are the clear-cut favorite of the game that will be taking place at “Sumice” sports hall but nevertheless the home guys are getting ready for this match with the ambition to perform well in front of their home fans. TRENTINO will actually turn into an exceptional motivation for the young Serbian side as singled out by head coach Milan Djuricic and captain Nikola Mijailovic.
“It is a great honor for all of us, players and coaching staff, to play this match with the Italians. We are definitely not in the position to pose any threat to the triple European and World champions. I expect my players will be playing with courage as our form is improving and we are playing better and better as shown by our first round match with Zaksa KEDZIERZYN-KOZLE in Poland” states Milan Djuricic.
Team captain Nikola Mijailovic can’t wait for this clash: “The fact that we will be playing against the best team in the world shall be enough to motivate us to give our maximum”.
The President of Partizan, Nenad Golijanin, invited all Volleyball fans in Serbia to come together to Beograd for this unique match of the guys dressed in black and white.
