Margaret Ann Fleming assumes Presidency of Small Countries Division
News from the Zonal Associations & SCD

Vienna, Austria, September 21, 2011. The Small Countries Division (SCD) recently met on the occasion of the XXXII CEV General Assembly held this past week in Vienna. After ten years of leadership, Andreas Stavrou (CYP) stood down as President and Margaret Ann Fleming (SCO) was elected to succeed him.

Branko Vlahovic (MLT) was elected to the Executive Committee and succeeds Ms. Fleming as Vice President. Continuing the good work and leadership for SCD, Philippe Schürmann (LIE) was re-elected as Secretary General, as were Burkhardt Disch (LUX) for Sports Development, Niclas Joensen (FER) for Finance and Paddy Murphy (NIR) for Press/Media.

The new SCD President Margaret Ann Fleming joined Dr. Banu Can Schürmann (LIE) in winning election to the CEV Board of Administration at the Vienna General Assembly.
The next three months will be busy for the Executive Committee as it finalizes important new pathways for the development of the 15 Federations included in the SCD.
