Team Serbia book ticket to #EuroVolleyU16W
CEV U16 Volleyball European Championship - Women

Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia, March 13, 2021. On Saturday, Team Serbia secured their participation in this year’s CEV U16 Women Volleyball European Championship after completing a clean sweep of their matches at the zonal qualifier run by the Balkan Volleyball Association (BVA) in Vrnjačka Banja.

The hosts were the dominant force in the competition as they conceded only one set – in their final match with Turkey – throughout the tournament. Bulgaria and Turkey finished second and third, respectively, with Romania and North Macedonia following next in fourth and fifth place.

Serbia are the first team to qualify for the final round of the competition due to take place later this summer in Nyiregyhaza (Hungary) and Humenne (Slovakia). The remaining teams from the BVA qualifier will have an additional chance of progressing to the Final Round through the second round of continental qualifiers scheduled for early May.
