Zaksa makes history

If volleyball was to introduce an ultra marathon version of the match, the semifinal run between Kędzierzyn Koźle and Zenit Kazan would have been the prime example of that! Both teams delivered one of the most emotional rivalries in the history of the competition, going through two tie-break games and a Golden Set! Just like Zaksa did back in the first match, Kazan came back from behind to win the five-setter, defending several match points of the hosting team. But the Polish side are rather seasoned in the art of difficult games and Golden Sets, as the team won the final set reaching the Super Finals of the Champions League for the very first time in their history.

Trentino back to the Final

Trentino Itas reach the Champions League Super Final after securing two sets against Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia. Following a straight-set victory in their first semifinal encounter, Trentino did not require to win the game as long as they were to win two sets. Perugia stepped up to the challenge taking a 2-1 lead, but Trentino pushed back in the fourth set, securing their Super Final ticket after winning that part of the match. Perugia ended the match with a victory, but the ultimate goal landed at the hands of the team from Trento.
