Maximilian Landfahrer, player of SK Zadruga AICH/DOB: “Mladost ZAGREB were really dominant both in block and defence today. It was extremely hard for us to score and that is why they won 3-1 in the end.”
Matjaž Hafner, head coach of SK Zadruga AICH/DOB: “I think we played a good match, especially in the first two sets, but then we did not use our chances and Mladost started to rise the level of their performance. The main problem was that our side-out was extremely poor. I think Mladost’s victory is well-deserved.”
Petar Višić, player of Mladost ZAGREB and MVP of the match: “We were not so good in the first set, but after that, we started to play more aggressively. We pushed them with our serve and block. I am happy because of this win and I hope that we will continue to perform like this.”
Radovan Malević, head coach of Mladost ZAGREB: “It was a very difficult and interesting match between a young team such as ours at Mladost and one really experienced team such as the reigning champions of Austria. We will count our total score after Wednesday – only after the re-match in Klagenfurt. We will see there if we can make it to the last of these early rounds of the Champions League.”
