VK UP OLOMOUC poised to host re-match with BACAU in #CEVCupW quarterfinals

Olomouc, Czech Republic, February 10, 2019. The quarterfinals of the 2019 CEV Volleyball Cup – Women continue in Olomouc, Czech Republic. After a thrilling tiebreak match last Tuesday night in Sala Sporturilor, VK UP OLOMOUC and Stiinta BACAU will lock horns again to determine the team that progresses to the semi-finals.
“I think the pressure will be on the Czech team and we will go there to qualify for the semis,” said Florin Grapa, head coach of Stiinta BACAU before match in Olomouc.
The feelings are not much different on the other side of the net. “We played a very tough match in Bacau, straight after playing the national cup final and winning it. I have to be satisfied with the result from the first match,” said Jiri Teplý, head coach of VK UP OLOMOUC. “Regarding the match in Olomouc, I believe that the chances for the qualification are equal, 50-50.”
“We know our opponent has good players but we will do our best,” said Nikol Sokolová, middle-blocker from VK UP OLOMOUC. “I hope the fans can help us make it to the semis. They are our extra asset. We are very much looking forward to this match.”
