•    The Opposite of team Budowlani ŁÓDŹ - Jovana Brakocevic Canzian was voted the Top Player of the Match of the Week by fans on the Champions League Twitter account.
•
Swietelsky BÉKÉSCSABA started the game strong and used the home ground advantage as they served and received well in the first set. As underdogs, the five-time Hungarian Champions managed to take the first set 25-20.

After that, BÉKÉSCSABA managed to fight their way back into the game and they came as close as one point, 21-22. When it looked like the home team could take the third set, Brakocevic just rose to the occasion and helped ŁÓDŹ claim the set 25-23.

•    For the fourth set, the home team felt like this was their chance to even the game up and force a tiebreaker. BÉKÉSCSABA started good, Brakocevic, the Serbian star, got blocked back to back by the Hungarian middle blocker, Dorottya Bodnar. This was a momentum changer in the game, but after that the Polish team just forced their opponent to make mistakes as they took the final set 25-18.

Błażej Krzysztalowicz, head coach of Budowlani ŁÓDŹ: "We wanted to win this game like every other we play, but BÉKÉSCSABA played extremely well today. From the beginning we didn't play good volleyball as we lost the first set. After that, we managed to pick up the pace and walk away with the victory."

Mihály Kormos, head coach of Swietelsky BÉKÉSCSABA: "We were well prepared against Budowlani and we had the home team advantage as over 1,000 spectators came to support us. We played well in the beginning, my players followed the tactic we had agreed upon and they were focused. After that, we lost control of the game and we tried hard but couldn't manage to come back. I hope in Poland the result will be the same but that time for us."
