Luxembourg, June 28, 2018. The draw for the next edition of the European Cups is scheduled to start tomorrow at 11:00 CET. First we will be drawing the early rounds for the 2019 CEV Volleyball Champions League which using the revised system will produce two teams that will join the 18 teams seeded to the 4th Round per gender. Straight after that at approximately 11:30 CET we will commence with the draws for the 2019 CEV Volleyball Cup and the 2019 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup.
It was a little over six weeks ago that we crowned our kings and queens of Europe - Zenit KAZAN and VakifBank ISTANBUL - in what turns out to be our last ever Final Four events as we embark a single final match concept. Both of the recent champions will start in the fourth round and everyone will have to wait until the 2nd November to find out the pools for the group stage of the competition. Rounds 1 to 3 are played using the home and away knockout format starting in early October. You can down load the full European Cups calendar here.
