Krasnodar, Russia, March 1, 2018. Dinamo KRASNODAR qualified to the semi-finals of the 2018 CEV Challenge Cup - Women after winning the home match with TJ OSTRAVA. Dinamo lost the first two sets to the Czech club, however were able to catch up the opponents in the third and the fourth sets and take their win during a closely fought fifth set.
• Dinamo were able to win both home and away matches with TJ OSTRAVA.
• The Russian team were able to seize the advantage in the match at the end of the third set when it seemed that the game was almost over and during the fourth set even did not let their opponent to catch up taking the lead and keeping it until the end of the set.
• Angelina Sperskaite of Dinamo KRASNODAR was the best scorer with 22 points, including seven break-points.
• During the semi-finals Dinamo KRASNODAR will try to win the matches with Olympiacos SFP PIRAEUS. The matches will take place on March 13 and 20, with Olympiacos hosting the first and Dinamo the return match.
