Turkish ‘Tigers’ confident ahead of re-match with SCHWERIN
2018 CEV Volleyball Cup - Women

Istanbul, Turkey, March 19, 2018. Last week Eczacibasi VitrA ISTANBUL stormed to a comprehensive 3-0 away victory in the first round of the 2018 CEV Volleyball Cup – Women semis with SSC Palmberg SCHWERIN of Germany. The ‘Tigers’ now need to take two sets from their home match on Tuesday to progress to the last stage of the competition where they will play the winners of the fixture featuring Minchanka MINSK and Allianz MTV STUTTGART.

Middle blocker Beyza Arici: “We played much disciplined the previous match – and we did this as a team, thus taking a huge advantage ahead of the second semi-final. We will be playing the second match at home and we will do our best to reach the final.”

The re-match between Eczacibasi and SCHWERIN takes place on Tuesday, March 20 at Burhan Felek Volleyball Hall at 7 pm local time with live streaming available on Smart Spor.
