Kazan, Russia, May 11, 2018. Ready, set, go! Zaksa KEDZIERZYN-KOZLE’s and Belgian national team’s outside hitter Sam Deroo sat down with us at the player’s hotel for a social media takeover. For an hour he answered as many questions as he could on the Champions League Twitter page and on Instagram. To accommodate his fans he immediately went live on his own Instagram channel as well, to ensure a great following and some wonderful questions.
During the takeover you could see that the Belgian star is used to communicating directly with his fans, knowing some of them by name and sending them his heartfelt personal greetings. Sat in the lobby of the Mirage hotel, he was subject to some teasing by his teammates. But with his characteristic smile he laughed these provocations away.
