#CLF4Kazan organisers unveil official logo of this year’s ‘ultimate Volleyball party’

Kazan, Russia, March 30, 2018. The organisers of the #CLF4Kazan, the ‘Volleyball party of the year’ due to take place in the Republic of Tatarstan on May 12-13, have unveiled the corporate identity and logo concept of the event that will crown the eventual winners of the 2018 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Men.
The concept
What does unite us? Regardless of nationality, religion, age and any other social background, it is the love for sports, the love for Volleyball. Volleyball is able to bring together people with an extremely diverse background. It is not just a job or a hobby, or a favourite sport. It is more than that. It is our life.
The corporate identity derives from the key Volleyball element - a flying ball. The logo also represents an open palm as a symbol of people coming together around the sport in a spirit of unity and friendship. The outlines of the ball on the open palm emphasise that Volleyball means life for millions of people in Europe and all over the world.
The colours
Monochrome blue used as a primary colour highlights the link between the Final Four and the official CEV Champions League logo. Purple goes well with blue and symbolises brightness of life and spring - the season of the Final Four and the blossom time.
