Sofia, Bulgaria, March 24, 2021. Beach Volleyball pairs of athletes aged between 18 and 24 in both genders and of all nationalities may now apply for unique vacation-and-internship opportunities at the Sofia Beach Resort & Sports Complex in the beautiful outskirts of the Bulgarian capital. The very same facility will be hosting as many as four 1-star stops on the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour this summer, as well as four Bulgarian National Tour events.

With the season running from May 1 through September 1, the applicants need to commit to a period of around three months, during which they will take advantage of daily training sessions with Brazilian coach Adriano Ticao, while enjoying free-of-charge room and board on the premises of the complex. Sofia Beach consists of a hotel, a restaurant, eight beach volleyball courts, a swimming pool and a weight gym and is located at the foot of the gorgeous Vitosha Mountain, just outside Sofia.



They will also get the chance to take part in the four World Tour events to take place at Sofia Beach between May 20 and August 8, as well as the four National Tour events.

“We would like to support the development of young international and Bulgarian athletes by creating a safe training hub for eight men’s and eight women’s teams. They are going to train with professional coaches at an excellent facility and get to play as many as 10 high-level tournaments at our complex this summer,” said Sofia Beach Sports Director Onur Kara.
