Jurmala, Latvia, September 20, 2020. The CEV EuroBeachVolley 2020, Jurmala, Latvia, is near the finish line and with the medals and the much desired trophy on the line, it promises to be the most exciting day of volleyball we have had this whole year.
The men are the first ones to enter the main court on Majori Beach, with the first semifinal scheduled to start at 11:30 CEST as the defending champions from 2019, the "Beach Volley Vikings" from Norway, Mol A./Sørum, C. take on the Italians Paolo Nicolai/Daniele Lupo. Up next will be the second semifinal, an all-Russian affair between the 2019 world champions Viacheslav Krasilnikov/Oleg Stoyanovskiy and the surprise package for this stage of the competition, the pair of Nikita Liamin/Taras Myskiv.

As for the women's competition, with only two matches remaining, the emotions are running quite high. In just a matter of hours we will find out who the Bronze medalists are and, even more exciting, who will lift the CEV EuroBeachVolley Trophy for the first time in their careers!
