TRENTINO need to win two sets to book ticket to #CEVCupM semis
2019 CEV Volleyball Cup - Men
Trento, Italy, February 13, 2019. TRENTINO Itas need to take two sets from their rematch with Lindaren Volley AMRISWIL to secure their spot in the semis of the 2019 CEV Volleyball Cup – Men. This matchup follows the 3-0 victory claimed by TRENTINO in Switzerland back on January 30.
In their last two participations (2015 and 2017) in this competition, the reigning world champions lost the final at the Golden Set to Dinamo MOSCOW and TOURS VB, respectively. This match follows the Final Four of the Italian national cup held last weekend in Bologna where TRENTINO lost 2-3 in the semis to Cucine Lube CIVITANOVA.
TRENTINO Itas coaching staff will evaluate the physical shape of the whole roster during the last training sessions to decide who will eventually rest during the home match versus the top-ranking team of the Swiss national championship (which on Sunday lost at the tiebreak to LUZERN to suffer their first domestic setback this season).
