Baku, Azerbaijan, February 28, 2017. Imoco Volley CONEGLIANO completed their duties in Pool A of the 2017 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Women rallying to a comprehensive 3-0 victory (25-13, 25-9, 25-16) over Telekom BAKU. Imoco Volley will now focus entirely on preparing for the Final Four tournament, which they will be hosting on April 22-23 at Palaverde in Treviso.

Imoco Volley set the pace of the game right from the early stages of the first set – which they eventually won at a canter (25-13). The second set was not any different – and Telekom were only able to score nine points as Imoco Volley controlled the game from start to end. The Italian ‘Panthers’ did not lose composure and cruised to a 25-16 win in the third set, thus sealing a compelling 3-0 victory over the young team from Azerbaijan’s capital.

Serena Ortolani top scored in the match for Imoco Volley with 16 points, as Olena Hasanova paced Telekom BAKU with 10.
