Istanbul, Turkey, February 13, 2014.  The players and the staff of ISTANBUL BBSK believe in their strength to make it to the semifinals of the 2014 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup - Men despite losing by 2:3 to Belgium’s Euphony ASSE-LENNIK in the first leg of their quarterfinal clash last week.

Nedim Ozbey and his players are in a fighting spirit before the crucial battle with Euphony.  The team from Istanbul wants to keep its dream of playing in the cup final alive, but is fully aware that it will also be a tough encounter with the Belgian team in the return match.

Coach Nedim Ozbey said that they played some tough games in the Turkish domestic league recently - against teams like Halkbank ANKARA, Arkas IZMIR and Fenerbahçe Grundig ISTANBUL. They had some concentration issues during the game in Belgium due to the high tempo of the games, but with the help of their home crowd, they will do their best to make it to the next round tonight.

The match starts at 17:00 local time at the Haldun Alagas Sports Complex in Istanbul.
