Fan zone and ‘Delicious Kazan’ food festival entertain supporters at #CLF4Kazan

Kazan, Russia, May 13, 2018. The Final Four of the 2018 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Men is much more than just the climax of the Volleyball season, but a true sports holiday that brings together people from many countries. The gastronomic festival ‘Delicious Kazan’ is taking place this weekend as well in the Millennium Park right next to the Basket-Hall – and it is a must-see for locals as well as for fans who have travelled to the Republic of Tatarstan from abroad or from other regions of the Russian Federation.
The festival is offering top dishes from the best cafes and restaurants in Kazan, master classes by restaurateurs, and features a farmers’ market selling food by local producers. While children have fun in the playground, fans can enjoy live music and many cooking shows, as well as take part in voting for the best restaurant in town.
The Basket-Hall lobby is offering much fun as well. Within the arena, supporters have access to photo-zones, a Final Four photo exhibition, a Volleyball history museum showcasing valuable items, face painting, children’s playgrounds and food stands.
The opening ceremony of the Champions League ‘grand finale’ starts on May 13, at 18:20 local time. Spectators will enjoy a great show featuring Dina Garipova, the winner of the Russian version of ‘The Voice’ and a Eurovision Song Contest participant back in 2013 in Malmö, Sweden. She will perform live shortly before hosts Zenit KAZAN and Italy’s Cucine Lube CIVITANOVA take to the court to vie for the most coveted crown in European Volleyball.
