School Projects inspires more Armenian kids to play Volleyball
News from the National Federations

Yerevan, Armenia, December 26, 2020. The Volleyball Federation of Armenia (VFA) continues to work hard to inspire more and more children to play Volleyball and they recently did so through a Volleyball Festival held at the secondary school of the Aramus community in Kotayk Province.

The head of the local community, the school principal, as well as members of the Van women’s team – Anna Galustyan, Ofelya Matosyan, Svetlana Margaryan and Arpine Badalyan – attended the event, the latter ones very much helping with the delivery of a Volleyball match involving the students. In the process, the kids tried to improve their ability at mastering key Volleyball skills such as setting, serving, attacking, etc.

It is especially gratifying for the VFA that Volleyball teams involving boys and girls have already started operating in this community. These will participate in the Armenian Youth Volleyball National Championships from the 2021 edition.

The school received much needed sports equipment provided by the VFA and CEV to make sure that Volleyball becomes more of a routine, especially in the free time of the kids as much as during their physical education classes.
