Kids return to play Volleyball open air in North Macedonia
News from the National Federations

Skopje, North Macedonia, September 3, 2020. After a very long break due to the coronavirus pandemic, activities with the CEV School Project start to resume and this applies to the GOK Borec Volleyball club from Veles, North Macedonia, as well. The preparations for the upcoming season have started – this time outdoors, in compliance with the health and hygiene protocols in place to prevent any risk of infection from the novel virus.

The youngest members of the club are obviously those to feel most excited, since they have been missing their Volleyball activities very much and the imposed break has been very challenging to deal with even at their age.

Despite everything, the feeling is good and everyone wants to stay positive and looks forward to the challenges ahead. “GOK Borec has started the new season. The long-awaited training in nature began with fitness preparations, while respecting the measures for protection and preservation of everyone’s health,” says coach and physical education teacher Vesna Nikolova. “The children were looking forward to the beginning of new sports activities. We need to keep living and find a way to function and stay healthy. Volleyball is our life and we want to live it.”
