Germany's Laura Ludwig is one of the most successful beach volleyball players today, managing to win an Olympic gold medal, a World Championship gold medal, a European gold medal, twelve individual awards and several fans' awards. She's won it all, but what is at the origins of this success story?
Laura Ludwig: "I did a lot of sports, but I started with indoor volleyball around 8 years old. I think my mother saw a sort of a casting practice with a coach and sent me there. From the beginning there was a lot of cool stuff, playful, not volleyball all the time. I enjoyed being in a team, being with the other girls and I was enjoying having practice after school."
