Recently, the organisers have secured another important partner with the WWK Insurance Company. “With the Beach-Liga, we have created a new format in the pandemic, a format that requires a lot of energy and real partners. With the players, organisers and partners, we are starting a new era for Beach Volleyball and its perception among the public, making sure that fans can engage with the players and teams competing on site,” says co-initiator and Beach Volleyball player, Alexander Walkenhorst.
WWK Insurance has long been a passionate partner in sport and therefore is a perfect match for a strong community such as the Beach Volleyball family.
Moreover, the Beach-Liga will allow all spectators and those interested in Beach Volleyball to take part in a betting game, with valuable prizes such as signed player shirts at stake. During the event, there will be various campaigns for a good cause as well, in cooperation with the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.
